Daughter sounds like a friend of mine, at least when it come to be connected to event we consider light years back. His Dad got out the Army as a Colonel right after the Depression hit to look after family stuff. Got dragged back to work a Coastal Defense unit when we got into WW2, and was 78 when my friend was born in 1975.
He lives as long as his family usual does he'll end up seeing the 100th to 120th year anniversaries of America getting into WW2. And that's barring medical advancements that may or may not happen. |

Just found out earlier today that my neighbors cousin who was in the Army during Nam gets $350 per
month for some agent orange issue. Funny thing is while he was in country he said he never say agent orange, that he was never around it it or exposed to it as he was not a front line soldier. |
