I'm serious. What better modern horror film even comes close ? T&D was a goof-ball comedy. Kinda like Seinfeld. Revenant was okay, The Hazing was alright. Exit Humanity was kind of a joke. Cabin took the Haunted house thing to a whole new level !

Cabin ! T&D was more of a comedy. Cabin is a modern classic.

Modern classic?

Youve got to be fucking kidding me.

I liked CITW, and haven't seen TADVE.  I wouldn't call 'Cabin' a modern classic (far from it.)  But it was a refreshingly original take on a Truman-esque fairy tale, with no apologies to the Roger Corman school of horror.  It's tough to combine over-the-top cliche and originality.  I think 'Cabin' delivered both.
Sounds like I'll have to watch Tucker and Dale

Don't expect too much from it and you'll probably enjoy it.

Tucker and Dale was pretty funny. Haven't seen Cabin in the Woods, but I hear it's decent.

And because of that, the Reavers were included in the film.  There is a brief scene near the end when all of the monsters are rampaging through the facility, showing a woman shooting herself while two coworkers try to hold a door shut, and it's a direct reference to the scene in Serenity when the woman explaining the mystery of Miranda shoots herself as the Reavers break into the room where she is recording her message.

Yes, I didn't know about the reavers until I read the wiki.

Thanks for that.  Really helps to solidify the homages that CITW so lovingly presemted.

Indeed. A true cinematic masterpiece. Easily one of the best movies of the last decade.
