View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Hitler was a socialist just like Bernie. Bernie Sanders claims socialist proudly. Schools have failed to educate the masses Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile National Socialism is a form of socialism, but very different than the pipe dream that Sanders imagines. Sanders doesn't give a shit about being American or American exceptionalism. One has a better argument with a Trump/Julius Caesar comparison, in my opinion. Julius Caesar, really? Trump is running on a populist platform, this has be done many times in American politics. I didn't say it was a spot on comparison, but it's better than the Hitler angle. |

He's no more of a Hitler than any other politician we've had.. maybe even less of one.
Comparisons with Hitler are silly, anyway. |

Anyone who thinks Trump will win against Hillary is living in fantasy land. First thing Trump says to Hillary in the debates "why are you not in jail yet"? Trump will steamroll hillary Here's the problem with your thesis. A vast MAJORITY of people hate Donald Trump. Yes the MAJORITY of Americans don't just dislike him, they have a visceral aversion to him. It's so strong that you seem to think Democrats will stay home if Bernie doesn't get the nod. I would argue that Donald Trump running in the primary is a bigger motivator to get progressives out to vote for whomever their candidate is. Donald's unfavorable rating among Republicans is poor as well, so you'd need your so-called independents and blue-collar conservatives to come out and vote in favor of him over all the Republicans that stay home if he is the nominee. I'd put money on Trump losing in a Trump vs Hillary run-off. |

The question is - who will have the best chance of fighting the corrupt media? I already explained to you the difference. A good amount of Republicans (call them the establishment, RINOS, Conservative-lite, whatever) dislike Trump and won't hold their nose to vote for him. Progressives have an extreme aversion to him and will vote for ANYTHING to prevent him from coming into office. So that leaves "moderates", sorry I don't think there's anything "moderate" about Trump's rhetoric, he's most likely going to alienate those folks as well. I find it virtually impossible for someone with the favorability ratings he has to win a general election. Do you think he can turn this around? |

Mentioned on Rush today
I've had some time to think about this. Hitler was a foreign born outsider who never fit in. Hitler came from obscurity but surrounded himself with a close group of like minded radical friends who taught him how to speak with passion and convection. Hitler never had more than 1/3 of the vote or support of the people of his nation at his peak popularity. Hitler used muscle and manipulation to gain access to power. Hitler used "executive orders" to rule his nation and government agencies like the IRS and FBI to destroy his enemies. Doesn't sound anything like Trump. Best I can say is at least Hitler served in combat. FBHO couldn't run a hot dog stand. I do not doubt for one minute that the only reason I, my family, friends, and those like me are not in a camp or a gas chamber somewhere under this regime is because I'm armed and willing to use force if necessary in the pursuit of liberty and freedom. FBHO. |

As an historian I see more similarities with the current far left and their form of National Socialism as I do the Nazi's. Look at the racial hatred the left pushes now, the racial cover for those they protect, very much akin to 1930's German media. Look to at the racial hate called "white privledge" and "how they stole what they got and owe us" mantra. This was called "Jewish privledge" in 1933.
If anything Trump is the "anti-Hitler", being anti-PC, as PC is just another form of control to focus hate on targeted groups. |
