Who decides what vehicles are "Trail Rated"?  Is there a certification list somewhere?  If it's an arbitrary certification then I suppose the folks that issue a "Trail Rated" certification could name any vehicle they wanted as "Trail Rated".

In other words "Trail Rated" doesn't mean shit.

I'm in denver for work right now and ended up with a liberty for a rental car.  I laughed when I saw that emblem.  I bet I can find some good places around here to test it out.  I payed for the full insurance

I test drove a Patriot and was not impressed with acceleration.  As a matter of fact, that may have been the main factor as to not pursuing it further.  (auto, CVT)
