Me and my brother loved that show. We couldn't wait for the "next episode" each week.
I would tape the episodes and I believe they are at my folks house in the boxes of VHS tapes my dad hordes. It is too bad they don't have the original soundtracks on the dvds. I remember in the 80's "Vietnam" magazine did a write up on the show. They interviewed some of the actors and were on location in Hawaii during a filming. I think that is at my folks also. My brother went on the join the Army, he has 16 years in. He has a dvd box set. I asked to borrow it once, and he told me, "sure, just take care of it, it belonged to Cowboy.". He borrowed it from one of his guys in his squad before they deployed to Iraq December '04. He forgot to return it and figured he would just give it back to him when they returned stateside. Cowboy didn't return home.

Does any one know why the DVD collections are so expensive?
Seasons one and two separately are only 14-25 bucks apeice. Season three only is around $50, and the whole shabang together is like $400. |
