I miss my 1993 Thunderbird.  Only had the V6, but it was a smooth ride.   I'm seriously considering picking up a used 1993 with the 5.0L engine just for the memories....

Why would you need to? A hot 292 can rival a v8 and is more than enough motor for a ledsled; and far more interesting.

Fully built 5.4l using a Shelby gt500 crank, Manly pistons and rods, ARP studs all over, heavily worked romeo heads with oversized valves etc etc etc....more fun than any truck should be.
