Careful not to attract too many hipsters... look what happened to CO. It's okay.. the hipsters herd together in Austin, Dallas and Houston. Easily contained. Yeah ask us Ohioans how keeping the liberals confined to the cities works out.. easy for them to vote 3 times that way.. Obama gets 99 Percent Of The Vote In More Than 100 Ohio Precincts Barack Obama received more than 99% of the vote in more than 100 precincts in Cuyahoga County, Ohio on election day. In fact, there were a substantial number of precincts where Mitt Romney got exactly zero votes. So how in the world did this happen? Third world dictators don’t even get 99% of the vote..... |

You are not aware of the the original 13 colonies war for independence from GB? He probably meant we were the only state to single-handedly fight for our independence but even that wouldn't be true. Texas probably would have lost the revolution if not for the Tennessean volunteers and we weren't the only Mexican state in rebellion. What happened in Texas was actually a part of the first Mexican civil war and the states of Coahuila, Nuevo Leon, Tamaulipas, Zacatecas, San Luis Potosi, Queretaro, Durango, Guanajuato, Michoacan, and Yucatan were all in rebellion. Texas was the only state to win against the Mexican army and achieve independence. |

I was in Houston last year, reminded me exactly of Trenton NJ
except there were more dangerous whitey-hatin Mexicans instead of the usual dangerous whitey-hatin blacks I stopped into a CVS to get some sunscreen, all the Mexicans looked at me in shock, like "What is the crazy gringo doing in our CVS?!" good stuff wait until they can vote, see how red your state is then I love how all southerners blame the free shit army for screwing up their local state politics but they think that the entire northeast is full of ultra-lefty white people. the idea that we have the exact same situation up here, cities drowning in FSA, is just impossible for them to understand or they don't want to understand because it fucks up their ability to praise themselves to the high heavens The thing that nobody understands is that it's douchebaggy to praise yourself and triple douchbaggy to praise yourself for being born in a geographic location like that's a huge achievement. It's deca-douchebaggy to look down your nose at other people who do not share your proud non-achievement. |

Like they personally fought in the war. Also while Texas may have won the war then they are losing it today. The last time I was there it was hard to tell if I was still in the US or Mexico until I got to Austin which made me think I took a wrong turn somewhere and ended up in Frisco. Add the the giant walls of juicy bugs that practically ruined the paint on my truck and ungodly heat I can firmly say that Texas sucks. Now I know in advance that some butthurt Texan will come along and point out the shortcomings of my state (which I admit are many) but I don't go around sermonizing how wonderful Illinois is and at least the cashiers around here speak English. |

View Quote Did you just compare the 4th largest city in the US to Trenton, New Jersey based upon your visit to a drug store? Did you then go on to describe things which are douchebaggy? I've spent a significant portion of my life in Houston, I can't say that your impression is the one I'm left with. I'll agree that being proud of the place you were born in, solely because you were, is silly, though. |

That makes no sense. Why would Kali trash move from a state with a thousand times better weather to a state that is also being over run by Mexicans? I think it's a bogus argument. I live in Kali, own rentals in Kali, Nevada, and Oregon. When I decide to settle in, it won't be in a boarder state, and definitely not HI. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:
