It's being worked on. Haven't bought the rights to the pistol yet as the auto mag is front and center. Maybe less than 3 mos out. Maybe a .22 conversion for AM as well.

A couple of years ago I was with a friend (who was getting a barrel made) at a local guys private workshop. This place was an Aladdin's cave of guns and gun parts, crazy stuff stashed everywhere.

Got permission to rummage around and found an original, dust covered Shrike in a drawer.

Out of everything that is the thing I want the most.

My first thoughts were the Bren Ten and the magpul FMG9 which would be awesome if sold as a semi auto sbr.

Now I will say I think it is worth giving HK props for actually bringing in the sp5k. It took like 3 years to get but we actually got it. Now if they would only bring in a sp94....

Yes, yes it has.

I have a book, Bren Ten the Heir Apparent with an author inscription talking about the Fortis-Bren Ten project dated around 2006.

There's a company out there supposed to be  making metal magazines for the VEPR 7.62x54R (right now only options are 5 round OEM and the out-of-spec SGM 10 rounders. Thats it, no other choices).

On a positive note concerning vaporware.

This is the first time in almost a decade that investments can be made without the likely possibility of everybody losing their ass due to regulations.

Last I heard everyone got their upper or got a refund. ARES had a dealer account on here a couple of years ago. Not sure what happened but from everything I've seen all of the depositors where made whole. And the uppers are being sold, a couple of dealers have them in stock. One sold on gunbroker last week for $2900. That was a good deal.

There was a 5.56 upper that was supposed to work with Mac-10/Mac-11 lowers, magazine fed.
I think the company took a good but of money for down payments, then folded, and none or very few ever shipped.

The ACR is almost an orphaned platform. Bushmaster's done next to nothing to advance or popularize the rifle since 2009, which is what people figured would happen when Magpul sold them the production rights.

If they offered M-Lok handguards and new barrel lengths/profiles/calibers, and sold it for less than $1500 it would be closer to Magpul's vision for the Masada.

Nope, Mark occasionally puts updates out, but its just delay after delay so far. He will eventually get them done I think.

Meanwhile, my serbu lower has been form 1'd, approved, engraved, assembled, and has been collecting dust for around a year now
