I must say i love how you folks in Texas pull over and drive on the paved shoulder to let someone pass.  thats way cool!

Except when they do it in a state that doesn't have shoulders designed for that.

Try driving a big truck "back in the da bad ol' days" when it was 60/55. Was damned near a career,just to get across TX. Speed in TX with a big truck,and DPS will get you. Coming over on 20 between Odessa/Midland,eastbound/night,and DPS was pulling over ALOT of trucks.
