Lots of WTF in those articles with very little details. IF this guy was told to leave and came back as both the shooter and target say, then that leads to to suspicious activity on the account of the pop-up target. However, the articles do not state what time of day the shooting occurred and that makes a big difference in Texas. That whole "criminal mischief after dark" thing makes a big difference.

I don't get the whole "shot in the back thing". There obviously was a confrontation and the man thought he needed to pull his weapon. What is he supposed to do wait for him to take cover and see if he gets fired at before trying to defend himself? And the aliby "we be not haven no gats", is bs. The criminals run in packs. View Quote Exactly, he probably believed he was armed and moving to cover. What is he supposed to do? A gun fight isn't a turn based strategy game. "I"m calling a timeout guys! That is the story that the police are going to go with every time unless there is clear evidence of something else. Swastikas may offend you greatly, but they probably will have no bearing in this. Of course, the Swastikas may be why the shootee was there to begin with. In which case he would be the aggressor which will help the shooter, not hurt him. |
