The "Girls With Guns" video was actually shot by Tarantino specifically for "Jackie Brown." The whole thing is on the bonus disc of the collector's edition DVD.

AUG standard issue USCS Special Agents/DHS.

Had one with a three round burst and 16 inch barrel and compared to the M-16/M-4 variants...?

The AUG was state of the art in the 80's-decent fast optics, compact, standard folding broomhandle (donkey dick). Very sturdy and pretty heavy. Very few Agents liked it b/c it felt akward, couldn't be shot off both shoulders, and trigger sucked, from single to burst-grrr! Still, it knocked out 1.5 inch 3-5 shot groups at 100 yards from a rest with the 16 inch tube and standard issue ammo.

As far as the way it was made, it exceeds the Colt/variants in their standard form IMHO. It was also grotesquely reliable despite sometimes sketchy looking older magazines with worn lips. I've been an instructor for years and have personally never seen one jam, despite some looking very poorly treated. We are transitioning to the M-4's with some barrels chopped to 10.5 inches, but the difference in quality and strength is obvious. However, I prefer the shorty Colt for feel and trigger.

I think the AUG will run longer under dirty and dusty conditions, and would cause a riot at every public range I took it to...

A rifle which has a 16" barrel but is as short as a 11.5" Ar15,
offers a vastly better balance (one hand shooting in the retention
position is easy), has higher shot to shot speed and better accuracy
in CQB (muzzle hardly raises), runs fine without the need for gallons
of lubricant, has a barrel drop in feature where you can go from 14.5" to 24"
in a breeze, and less small parts that even the Ar15 Upper, certainly isn't gay.

It doesn't need all that Ar15 "Gen2", "improved", "reliability enhancement", etc.
stuff too! And the magazines are reliable from the start and even after thousands
of rounds- imagine that!

I will wring out both in a 4day Tactical Response "Fighting Rifle" class soon:

The guy I knew who loved them the most was 5'6".

I'll never forget the look of joy on his little face as he skulked around all "tactical" in the gunstore with his latest AUG aquisition.
