I wouldn't go anywhere near $20k on it. And I hate it when they coat everything black to make it look new, usually there's overspray all over and it takes a while for slow leaks to resurface after it was all washed off.
Don't fall in love with thing and stick closer to about a $15k max. for one in nice shape.

if it had the original frame finish maybe 17-20k if you just had to have it. as it sits i would not even want it.

Way too high of a price.

Hell, I've got an '06 Ram 3500 with the Cummins and 6-spd, with only 56k miles on it and I can't sell it for $19k

Would you take a 09 Chevy Malibu and 08 Harley Nightster for trade? Seriously. I have the titles to both

Don't walk away.... RUN AWAY! Looks like a nice truck but I would not pay double its book value! Rims, tires, and suspension can be done easily for under $3-4k. Find a newer truck with less miles and add those mods when you can afford to and after you've driven it for a while to make sure you don't waste $$$ on a lemon!

I loled at the places name, M&M Investment cars

Truck is super clean, but still too much

No leather fr that price

Also has some funky looking winch add-on behind the bumper

The Arrcom consensus is to walk away from this deal.

I suggest that you take it

The price tag ... however, speaking as one that just bought a car and was in the market, used car prices are crazy these days.  I'm not saying OP should buy it –– he definitely should not –– but the fact that the dealer is asking for such a high price is sadly not surprising.

Here is my 03 F250 CC with Lariat and Off Road package  that I bought 2 1/2 years ago 10k.

Had 230K miles on it with a dusted 7.3 engine.  Already had a 4" Banks Exhaust and 4" lift.  I rebuilt the engine myself with a few goodies added,  lowered the back end about 2" and added Airlift airbags.  It also needed a front end rebuild with ball joints, brake rotors,  locking hub rebuild and a new slip yoke in the front drive shaft.  I figure I have about 15K to 16K in it with doing all the work myself.  Trans is still oem and will need to be rebuilt one of these days but oh well.

Here is what it looks like now and what I use if for.  Rides and drives better than my SOs 4runner by far.

Soooooooo,  24k is little much I think.  Good 7.3 trucks are getting hard to find but not that hard.

Good luck.

I am going to pass on the truck due to the advice here but many of you do not realize how much a clean 7.3 commands in price. 10k? Not hardly.

They always seem to have quality vehicles there, but that is just way too much money. I on the other hand am going to drop $39k tomorrow at Tonkin Dodge on a new truck, 11 miles on the odometer

I'm not even sure what's funnier, someone thinking you should get yourself a '91 instead, or someone thinking the pickup in the OP is worth near $25K.

Glad to hear you passed on the truck. One thing I want to point out, even though I am sure you are aware, is these trucks had pretty weak auto trannies. I just traded mine in this summer for a car because the trans was about to give up the ghost.  My former boss has one that the trans grenaded with under 85k on the truck. His buddy went through 2 in his 7.3. So my point is, unless you know for certain the trans has been rebuilt and to a greater standard than factory, add 4k for a properly built tranny. Of course there are some out there that last 300k miles, but the latter is definitely the exception, not the rule! This is just my opinion, though. Other than that, water pumps, and a couple of sensors, these are great trucks.

Hypothetically speaking, if that truck was completely stock, one old timer owner who left it stock and had every maintenance record for it, it would be worth $20k at most, IMO.

Are you dead set on a 7.3? If not, I would look into an 03-07 5.9 Cummins. I believe 04.5 was a desireable model year, for what reason I am not sure, but it sticks in my head from when I was looking for a diesel truck.

Good luck in your search.

I agree way over priced. Not sure why they have the front bumper moved forward, maybe used to have a winch on the front? I would say $15-$18 for a nice 7.3 with low miles.

this is why i bought my f150.  7.3s were priced retarded high, and you couldnt pay me to take a 6.0.

You could buy two for that.

I currently own a 7.3L '99 F250, and I sm looking to trade up to a 2006-2007 Duramax. I'm still looking at paying less for that truck than you are willing to spring on an older truck with less potential.

Don't be a crackhead. If you look harder, you can get one for $12k or less.

Thats way way high.  Before you buy ANY turbo diesel have someone look at the intake to make sure they didn't dust the turbo with some shitty KN filter.  Mine has 165,000 on it, they run great.  They don't break often but when they do, it's not cheap.

Seriously its worth 13 if there is nothing wrong under the hood and he has all the service records.

That is fucking insane.

Want some perspective?  My dad just sold his '09 Superduty 6.4L with 100k miles for $20k.  It was a 6 speed manual, 4x4 crew cab long box Lariat package.  Leather, all options, basically just a small step down from a King Ranch.

That price is at least double what the truck is worth.

No way I'd pay that for a lifted truck, 7.3L or not.

My wife has a F250 with the 7.3 and loves it . She bought it new " it has been well maintained "to trailer her horses around and it is great truck. The price is way way too high on the one you are looking at. There is an AR I would love to sell you for $5000.00!.
