I have a good number of various type 1's. Need a compact in ,9mm. Maybe I'll wait for the V2 of that.
All you people complaining about the trigger and accuracy... They far outshoot the users, almost all cases. For a better trigger, it'll likely cost more. The V1 is like $300-400. That's pretty freaking good for something you only notice and complain about in the store. |

Guys just suck and blame the handgun. My FIL kept missing with his and was getting frustrated. I'm like give me that. Shot it and around and around the swinger plate went. Handed it back to him and said, "It's you." |

Looks similar to the shield 45 so I expect very aggressive stippling.
I like! |

For those of us that have to carry them at work, we can't trade out parts in the guns for a trigger that isn't total shit. |

Long slide FDE will be very high on my acquisition list. My FS 9mm trigger was unusable. It was horrific. I mean, it travelled forever, gritty and hard to pull. I pit in an Apex FSS trigger group and it is now fine. I am tier 87 and not particularly great, and even I knew how horrible the trigger was. My 870 was better.

I could easily improve my quals by swapping to a better trigger. There's no speculation in that, I've shot both Apex and factory plenty of times on many different models. Hell, even the factory Glock 5.5 is easier to shoot with. |

Grip zone 2.0 Lol, pretty sure I know my guns (as in I know that was Springfield). Sorry, just not super impressed with this update. |

Why not want the Loaded Chamber Indicator?
It looks great. I have one of the first M&Ps and I've been looking for an excuse to upgrade to a PRO CORE model or something similar. I know the 5" barrel would be better for accuracy but I prefer the look of the 4" model. I like the FDE version but I really dislike the thumb safety. They should make a version without that and with the CORE cutouts for red dot sights. I have no accuracy problem with my M&P and the trigger is good. It was my first gun so I learned on it, and maybe that's why I don't have an issue. |
|
Correct barrel twist/lock-up, correct some of the magazine issues, and improve trigger....
Hot damn I might have to buy another M&P.... |
|
Had cash in hand for a mp core a couple weeks ago. Glad I waited.
If they didn't enhance the internals or barrel wtf was the point? By the way, if that roll pin at the top going to prevent it from being milled for a rds? |

I don't mind the standard M&P LCI but I defiantly don't want this style as it looks like it has on the FDE models http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab4/m1a1911/Random/IMAG0127.jpg View Quote Thanks for clarifying. I agree, the LCI on the top of the slide is stupid. I like it better on the side. |
|
I like the changes but it concerns me that it flunked the military MHS testing. It was long rumored that there was a 2.0 design for the MHS testing and IMHO, this confirmed it.

I hate dropping points and ruining otherwise great quals on the 25 yard line I hate that fucking trigger and I dislike that gun because of it. So many other guns that I shoot so much better, and having a better trigger would make me like it a lot more. |

There's something odd just in front of the slide stop lever...

We qual to 50yds, and all three of my M&Ps do just fine, including the nasty triggered .45. Years ago, I had an epihany, and stopped hunting for reset, and found I instantly began shooting better, and at that same time, I was able to cross platforms without issue. A 1911 shoots just like a Hi-Power that shoots just like a Glock that shoots just like an M&P... |

Please make the compact 2.0 sized more like a Glock19 and less like a Glock27 |

Looks like it will finally happen soon. Academy sports is listing 9mm and 40 models with and with out thumb safety and L versions in FDE. The long FDE versions have a "tactile LCI" looking at the pictures it is held in place with a roll pin on top of the slide. I hope they offer that model without the LCI. I will pick one or two of these up when they are released. What's that square and rectangle above the rail for?
Speed holes? |

Updating link to more picks since it looks like the academy pulled the listings

Came to post this... If ANYONE from S&W might be monitoring this forum, this would be a "SHUDDUPANTAKEMYFUQQINMONEY" moment for your company. I would buy a 10mm M&P if you made one. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:
