This is my FAL, the "Hebrew Hammer". It was built from a light-barrel kit found at Knob Creek in the mid-90s and built on an Entreprise Arms "Israel Match" Type I upper receiver.

Although I can't prove it, the 3/67 date on the barrel leads me to believe that my rifle was a 6-Day War veteran.

I will try to get a picture I have scanned in. I have a picture of my dad in Israel in 1948 , he has a Thompson and a Luger stuck in his belt.

SARCO got some IDF surplus handguns in a while back (they're 'local' enough that I stopped by to check out their showroom).     Browning Hi Powers, Berettas, SIG Sauer pistols...all with a lot of wear on the exterior.    Couldn't afford them at the time...shame would have been nice to have a pistol with a little 'history'.
