Moderators get the title "moderator" under their name even when posting in forums where they do not in fact have moderator power. Just because somebody is the reloading guru and was made a mod of that forum doesn't mean they aren't a rude SOB in the general discussion forum.

Yes, of course.......there should be a higher standard.

Maybe if they could remove the human element and we could cut the window licking trolls out we could assume a higher standard. Until then, we let the airsofter--PC-I-got-my-feelings-hurt douchebags dictate who can say what; and when.

Mods and Staff are humans, like everyone else here.....they do the best they can. It's pretty tough to remain objective when surrounded by so many differing opinions and mannerisms.

As a general rule:

If you don't want your petty little feelings hurt shut the fuck up and READ; not type. If you can't handle somebody making fun of you on the internet then don't post on the internet. If you say something stupid, or post an outright lie, or a pure fabrication then expect to be called on it. If you can't handle it then go back to playing marbles out in your front yard with the kids.

Ghostchild, Let me chime in. I participated in the mike-of-austin thread(troll account) titled--"Bush's plan for outsourcing jobs." First of all, Bush doesn't have any such plan.

Second, I am the guy who called the troll a liar when he said nurses were having trouble finding jobs (as part of his ruse to trash Bush and the current job market). There has been a huge nursing shortage in this country for at least ten years. That is an absoulte fact. Even bad nurses can get jobs at any hospital they want. If you'll recall a few months ago, that male nurse who was murdering patients went from hospital to hospital getting jobs because hospitals are desparate for nurses.

BTW, others with knowledge of the situation and website links proved my claim.

Am I right Palo? I said something that I knew would spark a fire. Palo stepped up to defend. I figured neither would budge on the issue so I dropped it. I hold no ill against him for his position.

I might dislike someone on here from their posts, but could be friends in real life. Online persona's allow one to output their opinions in public without the worry of a knife fight breaking out.

There are many types of trolls, trolling, & troll topics. Those who are marked as such by someone usually can from experience on boards figer them and the topics fairly well.
