Not really news considering they have been in Ukraine for months including cross border incursions, created a 'separatist' movement with little local support, lobbed lots of Grad rockets over the border, and already seized Crimea. Just another day in Ukraine.

Too bad we blew our America load protecting a bunch of illiterate third worlders from themselves. We could be punching Russia in the face right now. We wouldn't be. Most of our political class never had any intention of honoring our agreement with the Ukraine, because our leaders are a bunch of weasels. Ukraine fucked up when they passed the responsibility of their own protection and sovereignty to another entity. I don't care about the details. |

Sad (and funny) seeing novelty rolls of toilet paper with Putin and Obama's face being sold around here.

Should be interesting in a couple of years... Russia's new lost generation. How many will they commit before they pull out?

I just read an article over the weekend that Russia had cut off natural gas supplies to several countries in Eastern Europe.
Not sure if this is a coincidence or if it was planned as part of their assault on Ukraine.

http://www.cnn.com/2015/01/19/europe/ukraine-conflict/index.html ^^ Hot link. Was reading earlier today that two battalions of Russian forces had openly crossed into Ukraine in direct support of the rebels at Donetsk. Same thing, I assume? View Quote So Russians crossed the border into Ukraine to help the rebels Russians who were already there in Ukraine? |

Obama's State of the Union speech writers just said OH FUCK. Now we have to do a little re-write and re-program the teleprompters

No worries.
Obama has Carole King already on a flight to perform in Kiev. |

Can we get a historic refresher for the past few years ? Seems like Russia is invading the Ukraine every 6 months

Oh, it's on now. Pack your bags boys...oh wait, Obama is President. Never mind, the Russians could march to France and we still wouldn't do anything.
Anyone wonder why we're giving the Syrian Rebels TOW missile launchers and we can't give so much as a steak knife to Ukraine? |

Putin better watch out. In a day or two Obama is going to get really mad when he reads about this in the newspapers like most people. Probably all the fault of the last administration though.
