Funny thing is this.
If, at the beginning of all of this, we had used diplomacy and actually talked with the Russians...most of this would not be happening. They have been fighting terrorists for longer than we have and, differences aside, have no wish for WMDs to be used by them. Instead we have an idealogue with a narcissistic personality and...managed to annoy about 3/4 of the world. |

Curiously, it was Item No. 87: 87. The Russian play is brilliant.
Obama and Kerry have both said that as long as Syria gives up the weapons, they are satisfied. Because of the ongoing rebellion, those weapons cannot be secured until there is pause to the rebellion. Assad wins. Russia wins. Assad uses WMD against his own people, and it results in the US and UN helping him to win the war. |
