I love the number in your guess. Unfortunately I think it might be a little bit high.
I will have to call the taxidermist and see if he will give me a green score. |

mid 140's. It's a damn nice buck regardless of score. My belief is that they are all trophies, even doe, I just don't bring them to the taxi though.
|

I too believe a score in the low to mid 140's.
The mass is nice and the width is too. Short brow tines keeps some of that score down. That being said as a life long hunter I know of many guys that have never killed a deer as good as yours. And that ante climbs even higher when you are talking about low fence ranches or public hunting land. You have killed a damn nice buck. |

It is notoriously hard to score from pics.
Like I would have never guesses 23+ inside spread. It looks more like 19.5 to 20 maybe to be. He looks like about a 145 to 150 gross buck to me using your inside measurement. Hell of a nice buck. I would have planted his ass. |

OP, the minimum that deer scores is 150 ish |
|
How I would field judge this animal on the hoof and knowing the basic dimensions OP gave us:
1/2 the spread = 11 beam circumferences = 16 beam length = 20 length of points = 29 total = 76 x 2 = 152 Gross B&C |
|
I get 148 just roughing it out from the pics and the few dimensions given. Don't care about net. Actually don't care about the score. That is a nice buck.
Main Beams = 23.5 and 23.5 (Assuming the same) G1s = 7 G2s = 16 G3s = 18 G4s = 7 Stickers = 3 Circumferences = 16+16= 32 Spread = 18 Total = 148 ish |

It is measuring thin air instead of antler. A proper measurement would be to measure the cubic centimeters of displacement or something like that. I guess it is the best we have, but why not measure how tall vs how wide? |
