i didn't say you, or anyone else belonged in the religion forum, i said that the arguments currently running between 3 thread in GD belong in religion. i never said one thing about you or anyone else for that matter- so i appreciate your personal attack, and i take it as further evidence that people who are christian automatically assume every non-christian to be a liberal/bigot/satanist.

To be fair, I'm not seriously saying that prayer hurts, only saying that empirical evidence (at this point) shows no positive benefits.

What a major thread hijack.

As for the prayer not working thing, I know personally sevral people that had aserious ilnesses, were prayed for, went back to the doctor and their were no signs of thier ailment. Doctors had no explination. Not to say this happens often, most people dont get healed when they are prayed for. Why? ask God. But God is just as capible today as he was 2000 years ago.

God wont move just to satisfy unbelievers.

If those people had prayer, what's with the doctors? Just in case?

God can work through any avenue he wants to, sometimes its through the hands of a doctor, sometimes its through the hands of the supernatural. God also comands us to take care of ourselves to the extent we are capable.

I love how some folks who hate religion and the religious in general act just like the people they hate.

Judgemental, condescending, superior attitude etc. Seems more like a crappy human trait than anything a faith or lack of bears. People =- teh suck.
