Mythbusters sucks. Tires indeed catch fire and when they do, it is hell to put them out. I can throw matches into tubs of diesel, that doesn't mean diesel won't ignite, it will.

Tell that to my dad.
 


Which part? Hold a torch to a pan of diesel, it will catch on fire in time.

Tires burn, they do it in Detroit in the streets on Hallowwen for fun.

I know of one guy who disconnected the rear brakes so he could lock up his front tires and burn the rear, his tires and his car cought on fire. stupid.
