One of my favorites is WA state's "Undiscovered Species Protection Act".  Shoot or trap or harass Bigfoot and you are up for 10 years/$100K fine.

In Bellingham WA they banned "single use plastic bags" - I am sure this critical law will save the environment and prevent the seas from drowning all the hippies.

But how often in the rural areas is this law actually enforced?  In the big cities they are probably anal about this but out in the country I would like to know if it is really enforced or not.
