Not 17 pounds and nothing is needed - until it is. Remember those words sir.

it's easier for me, since i carry a laptop bag, which accommodates stuff like flashlight, pens, etc . i carry very little on my person:
left rear: wallet right rear: pocketknife on clip left front: phone right front: keys, chap stick, lighter one suggestion--a lot of people pocket carry high-output, 123-powered flashlights when they don't really need them. AAA-powered penlights can meet most needs, and literally carry like a pen. especially for businesspeople, this is a good alternative to a bulky tac-style light. |

I throw shit in my pocket willy nilly.
Dont really edc anything but a wallet and some keys

Left front pocket - Wallet
Right front pocket - Phone, Kershaw Chill clipped to outer top edge Keys go in a hoodie or jacket pocket if available. If it's warm out and I have no outer garment, I just dump them in with the phone. It's an old flip phone that's scratched and battered to hell already. No gun yet. I should have my CPL in March or so. In that case I'll add an IWB holster and probably move the Kershaw to the left pocket. There was a thread on here recently that made a good argument for carrying a knife on your weak side. If there's a struggle and your strong hand is occupied or otherwise unable to reach your pistol, your weak hand may be able to draw the knife and encourage the attacker to stop preventing you from reaching your pistol. I'm also interested in pocket carrying a LC9 or Shield or Glock single stack 9 () at times. In that case I'd probably put it in my right pocket and put the phone in a holster. |
