Also, since when is a one year old car that hasn't even been generationally replaced yet "old", lol.

Unless the rear scoop was filled, it looks like a Boss. And it looks like '70.

Since I am 65, "old" Mustang means something built before 1974, when that perverted "Mustang II" came out.

A 2017 is NOT an old car.  It's a NICE car, but NOT an old one

Doesn't get much better than this:

A 429 would be nice, but they will be forever out of my price range.

Have had a few Mustangs myself. First one was a rust bucket 1965 coupe (first car) bought for $500, filled it full of bondo & sold it before I turned 16. Second was a Mustang 2 Cobra 2 (not a real Stang in most peoples eyes), dropped a 351 Windsor in it, drove the hell out of it. Third was a 79' Pace car edition with the turbo 4 cylinder. Then a 86 GT convertible that got demolished by a hailstorm & rebuilt with insurance money. Lastly before going to buying trucks, had one of the dark green 90' 5.0 convertible, sometimes called 7 UP mustangs.

The only picture I have of all of them.

Yup, 1970. Turn signal/marker light in the front fender. How can you tell it looks like a Boss from that picture?

When new, $48,000

A Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) with 26000 miles on it with the CPO included 7/100,000 warranty: $31,930.   Figured I saved $16,000 on the new ones I was looking at.

All cars are expensive today, but I feel like I got a really good deal on this one.  The CPO  status really pushed me over the top to get a used vehicle.

Thanks for the info.    How on earth did it get 26,000 miles on it, in a year?

1970 California basic sportsroof, no Mach or Boss. Had it since 94 when I was in the Corps. Started on it last August.

Pssh.  They were good looking in 69 and 70, kinda like the pretty girl who's gained a few too many pounds.  65 and 66 are the best looking years of the Classic Mustang and only a fattie lover would argue otherwise.

It was a rental.  I was initially worried about that, but the CPO warranty has put my mind to rest about it. The CPO warranty is longer than the warranty on a new car.  Get one, you'll love it!

I like a convertible, but after owning a soft top Miata for one year, I've decided that Hard Top Convertibles are for me.  I also hated the leather that Mazda used...doesn't breathe, so I sold it after a year.

One day, I'll get another Miata

Awesome car!  And yes I agree, old cars are cool but the new generations of mustangs with the large screen and Sync3 and all the excellent driving controls make it the best, especially for a daily driver.
