I'll take my 700 Tactical in .308 with the illuminated Mark 4 3.5-10x40 M1 LR/T Mil-Dot scope. For the handgun, my USP 45 Tactical with UTL and Silencerco Osprey.

LaRue 20" OBR with Surefire suppressor and U.S. Optics glass,
Beretta 92FS with Surefire X300 and suppressor. |

16"SS AR-15 in 6.8 SPC
6" S&W 686 .357 And I don't care what you say a Rem 11-87 12 gauge |
|
Spikes/BCM stainless 16" Midlength AR with TA11 ACOG, a 22lr conversion bolt, and a buttload of 62gr Barnes TSX for deer
Glock 19 |

FAL
686 4" barrel (6 round chamber - I want it strong) No shotgun? 12 gauge 870, with extra chokes, barrels, and magazine extensions. |

of the guns I own currently
Glock 19 and my AR. eta: and if available I'd squirrel away my 870. |

Glock 20
M1A with fiberglass furniture, POSSIBLY a low power optic, depending on what part of the world I'm in. Don't wanna worry about wood unless its a range toy. A working rifle should be low-maintenance. Honestly surprised noone else has gone for 10mm in their sidearm, here. |
|
I would like to test this thought process on a 1200 bull moose or a 600 bear.
M1a scout Colt 1911. Anything else, is just dumb. |
|
I will cheat
Colt 1911 in 45 ACP w a Kart 22 conversion Colt M16A2 w a Kuehl 22 dedicated upper I already have these. CP |
|
Quoted: M1A 1911 That took a while. These for me, too, please. A FAL would be a suitable substitute for the M1-A just because of parts availability. Would want a commander or compact 1911 (comander slide, officer frame). |
|
4" WW-II vintage Colt Commando revolver in 38 spl.
Remington Nylon 66 (tube fed) .22 rifle. It's lasted me 40+ years so it will do till I pass. And no I would not feel under-gunned at all. |

|
Handgun: 9mm glock (17/19/etc...)
Long gun: Mossberg 500 If you literally meant that it had to be a rifle and not a shotgun: DI AR from a good manufacturer with lots of replacement parts. |
|
For a handgun, a Glock 9mm,probably a Gen3 G17,
though a G19 may be easier to conceal. For a rifle, my Springfield Scout, black synthetic, with the Burris 2X7 pistol scope, quick QRW rings. If a shotgun is included, the Remington 870Police or the 11/87Police, each with ghostrings, hard to choose. I would not feel underarmed if i had a shotgun instead of a rifle, if the shotgun had sighting to make slugs good out to 100 yds or so. good idea or bad idea? If that keltec shotgun works out, that might change a few things, though. Uh, with a good light and a green laser. |

Marlin 1894 44 Magnum and a 629 44 Magnum. It can kill anything in North America and can be downloaded with shot for short range kills.

|
I couldnt do 1 rifle and 1 pistol. I guess if I was forced to pick Id take a lever action marlin 44mag carbine and some S&W 6in .22 revolver.
If I had to pick one long gun and one pistol. Id probably go with a rem 1100 , 870 or mossberg 500 and a G19 or .22 pistol. |
|
Ruger Superblackhawk .44 mag and AR-10.

How would yall that are going with 5.56 rifles hunt? I understand its possible, especially with the tiny deer on the east coast, but if you only had one rifle to do everything you wouldn't want a slightly larger round? |
