I think there is Merit for concern .We have not factored in the stupidity yet and this is the Country that almost had the Gore-man for president . There is a lot of sheeple who are not saying who they are voting for or acting republican that is waiting to get in a booth .....It should prove interesting .The Repubs are saying they will carry Florida , Where did all them pissed off dems go ?? They are waiting. I know that "W" ain't the best speaker in the world but He gives it to ya straight up. Keryy gives ya the "VERSION". .....Just picture what Ted , Hitlary , the johns and the other dem's are cooking up in the pot for us......I don't underestimate their power ; I just hope are people show up at the polls. God knows we want a President and not a Czar !

I am beginning to realize that even if Kerry wins, he still has to deal with a Republican Congress and, most likely, a Republican Senate (current prediction on Electoral-Vote.com is 52 R's with one tossup). Clinton never got another piece of legislation through after the 1994 fiasco and I do not think the Republican congress-critters want a repeat in 2006 of what happened to the Democrats in the House back in 1994. There was a scare back in post-Columbine 1999 with the nasty gunshow/magazine import bill passed in the Senate but, under pressure, the conference committee never met and the bill died.
Granted no additional "pro" legislation will be signed and SCOTUS may have several anti's appointed (though a strong Republican Senate may not go along) but we most likely will not see any further erosion. |

I don't think Kerry will win. Even if he does win, he still loses. He will divide the country, destroy the economy, alienate our allies (he's already doing that), weaken the US politically and militarily. Taiwan will fall on his watch, Iraq may fall into a radical Islamic state. Iran will detonate a nuclear bomb and develop an ICBM capable of hitting anywhere on Earth. Terrorism will escalate extensively.
Kerry doesn't understand that the war on terror has been going on for 2000 years and will merely grow more intense over time. Muslims will not be a mere nuisance. They want to return to the days of putting millions of Christians to death and collecting tribute from the living. All of Islam is bound to Jihad. Those who don't fight us militarily are fighting us economically, politically and culturally. Every Mosque that is built in America is another fortress we will have to battle. France has joined them in all but appearances. Spain has surrendered as well. This is a time of war and we need a fighting President. Kerry is NOT the right man, at the right time and the right place. |

Zogby under-polled Bush by 2% in 2000, just looking at your own posting. He has only gotten worse since. Zogby was predicting major Democratic gains in the 2002 Congressional election. Ask Majority Leader Dachle and Speaker Gephardt about that one. He had Gov. Davis defeating the California recall comfortably, but if the recall succeeded, had Cruz Bustamante winning handily. Ask Governors Davis and Bustamante how that worked out. Zogby has turned into a complete shill. His polls have become attempts to influence voters, not poll them. Scott Rasmussen has proven much more accurate in recent elections. He has Bush up 5% (and tends to UNDER poll Republicans by a couple percentage points). |
