Kinda blind...got lasered, still recovering.  eyesight is much better than previously, but not yet to the point that I ould be able to get by without glasses day to day.  I had PRK not Lasik, so recovery time is several weeks until I get full visual acuity.

Not right away, when the pain meds wore off on the way home it was pretty gnarley...and my eyes were  watering like they had spigots in them.  took the sleeping pills and pain meds they gave me and next morning had very little discomfort.  not having any now, other than not having 100% corrected vision which is most likely going to be a week or two out.

But is your vision better, at least a little??

Must be nice not wearing the glasses.

I am not wearing glasses now, and I can function, but the zombies out past 50 yards have an easier time dodging me right now, and that is unacceptable.   Even if my vision does not improve past this point, things will be far better for me if I were to lose my glasses out hunting or jetskiing or something like that.  I can drive if I have to, but prefer not to right now.  My vision gets worse when asked by the wife to do any chores as well.  hopefully that side effect does not go away.

LOL! You will be fine.

Its only been a few days, I'm sure it will continue t get better...well... except for the chores...those might ALWAYS be problematic...

A week from now, it will be VERY worth it!

It is from a Beavis and Butthead episode, but there are a few people out there with that name, spelled differently of course.

THAT I understand!

I was at their Main Store once.  It was for Christmas shopping just over 20 years ago.  I didn't buy anything.  (Obvious reasons; cost )

But I'm always going to remember the one woman, late 20's to early 30’s, who wore a coat that made me think of a big, black ostrich.  She had very thin legs stuck into tight black pants and knee high boots.  Then her pseudo-feather coat was almost spherical.  I don’t remember what color her hair was, but all I remembered from her was the way I was reminded of a big, black, bird.
And a walking choral group singing Christmas carols going from department to department.  And flax dresses going for over $1,400.  What does a flax dress go for now?
I forget what I got my mother for Christmas that year.  But I sure didn’t get it there.
