I quit using Heinz when HEB started carrying Whataburger ketchup.

I don't much care about ketchup one way or the other. If it were just me, there'd be a bottle in my fridge that grew things. Whatever.
My wife is an addict though. She puts it on everything, and it's either Heinz or whines. It's a matter of matrimonial happiness, and as such the presence of Heinz ketchup in my house in quantity is not a matter that is subject to the petty political whims of the internet. Frankly I don't care if they're grinding up minority children as the secret ingredient in the shit. Gotta keep the woman happy. |

I bought the wally world store brand. I can't taste the difference between that and Heinz. Kids drink that shit by the gallon.

I stopped buying Heinz after the first time Theresa Heinz Kerry opened her ugly cock holster on TV. The new ownership doesn't particularly thrill me either, but it can't be as bad as that shrill, stupid, ugly bitch.

I don't really care who makes it......
As long as the ingredient list reads: Tomato, pure cane sugar, vinegar, spices. Simply Heinz in good and real, Hunts used to have a good ketchup, but cant find it now without corn syrup..... If I cant find good, real, ketchup, I'll buy tomato paste (after I run out of my own) and make it. |

The impact of the change may be tasted more overseas. In the U.S., McDonald's uses Heinz products only in Pittsburgh and Minneapolis restaurants. View Quote Guess everyone missed this part. The real story is why they still used Heinz at all. |

well, dag nabbit... Anything connected to Warren Buffet is a no-fo for me. Perhaps the #2 douchebag on the planet, right behind George Soros.
No more Heinz in my house... Stopped going to BK a long time ago for health reasons, but still, FBK and FWB. and FBHO for good measure. |

Whew! Just as long as HateChicken doesn't change their mayo, I'm ok.

Love seeing ARFcom worked up over ketchup packets at a fast food joint....bickering about what ketchup is the best, whether one company supports the DNC, or taking the oh-so-important bandwidth to announce they wouldn't eat at McDonald's anyway.
Never disappoints. |

If they were true to their beliefs they would use free range tomatoes. The tomatoes that Heinz uses spend their entire life in a 2 foot square area, just like veal calves. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I like Heinz ketchup, dammit! This. I also like Ben and Jerry's, Newman's Own, and a host of other food products made by liberals. It's my guilty pleasure. Sadly, Heinz tastes better. I tried the "Fuck Heinz!" bandwagon. Hunt's tastes like watery tomatoes. Whataburger started selling their ketchup at HEB. Failing that you can get it here: http://shop.whataburger.com/Products/Detail/Fancy-Ketchup-3-Pack http://shop.whataburger.com/Products/Detail/Spicy-Ketchup-3-Pack This makes me so happy. I always ask for extra ketchup at Whataburger. It's the only ketchup we eat. Spicy ketchup is the best. |

I just use the Wal-Mart brand. The only thing I use ketchup for is making meatloaf and it really doesn't matter what brand.

Why would McD's subsidize their competition BK?
Just common sense. |

I ate lunch at McDonalds this week for the first time in a year. It was f-ing horrible. I can guarantee it will be even longer next time before I go back, no matter what kind of Ketchup they are offering.

I only use Heinz ketchup, it's the only one I like.
I don't ever eat at any fast food places so that is moot. Heinz Kerry is history and I don't care who owns it now. |

I remember a blind taste test recently where Heinz was not in the top 5 much to people's surprise even the tasters. I think cosco brand and whole foods were among the top. The McDonald's in OK is not Heinz and it is my favorite ketchup. I keep packets in my desk and use it instead of Heinz from other places. Did it not say McDonald's does not use Heinz I.most of the us.
