I'd rather have a light on my handgun.  It'd be nice if there was a way to add that too without too much bulk.

Look closer, keymod on the bottom.

It might be a little unwieldy after an adapter and a light are added, but it can be done.
Ideally someone comes out with a Maxim-9 specific low profile keymod direct mount light.

Think of it this way... It's the price of a Glock 17 and your favorite pistol suppressor. Give or take.

Yep.  I'd like an integral suppressed .45 AR pistol upper.  5" Barrel.

I got to shoot one a few weeks ago. I'm not much of a trigger snob, but holy shit is it bad. It was so heavy I actually stopped and checked if there was a safety that was on

Doesn't ruger already make integrally suppressed barrel assemblies for the 10/22 take down?

They do, but that barrel itself is nearly 3x the cost of a takedown... AND then add a stamp.

After HPA? And a significant price drop? I'm in.

HPA is on the way, and the increased volume will get you your price drop.

So how can we find the status of the HPA?  Is it really a possibility?

The Gemtech purchase is one indicator, big companies are positioning to be ready when it passes.  You'll see more and more integrally suppressed guns and cheaper throwaway cans coming.

Glock 19/17 - $500
Ti-Rant/Ghost/Etc (comparable suppressor) - $750
Threaded BBL - $200

Total - $1450

I'm not seeing the price disparity considering what you get.  Priced right in my book.

Now if you want to go buy a used glock, a 10y old design suppressor and a barrel then yes...you can come in under or around $1000.

How in the world are you supposed to activate the light when mounted so much lower than the support hand?  Momentary is going to be nearly impossible, and constant-on isn't the best choice for all situations.  And then it is limited to a bed-side only configuration, because good luck finding any kind of holster to use that combo in the field.

I was thinking that with an MRD and an IR light it would make an excellent pistol for use with NOD.  But I can't imagine how the ergonomics would work with something like an SF X300V mounted to the bottom.

I'd just go with a light with a tape switch if it was a bedside gun.

Did they breach contract or settle like gents?  I believe in honoring contracts, but also that quality along with supply/demand should determine price.  Price fixing b/c you are the big boy could be contracted, but perhaps SS took an honorable out.  I hope HPA passes, SilencerCO needs competition.

You can always sell below MAP.  That's not a problem.  Think about a going out of business sale, or a product that was discontinued sale.  What you can't do is advertise that price.  That's kind of why it's called "Minimum Advertised Price" .

I don't see why not? The barrel comes out past the housing connected to the frame. I don't remember seeing anything in the manual not to. May not cycle properly however?

Sounds really good with 115gr ball. I'll try some 147gr & 158gr tomorrow if I have time. Gets nice and toasty after 50rds (the actual suppressor area)

Basically outside of the rattlesnake and not spooking the horse there is nothing a non suppressed gun couldn't have done.

Silencer Shop was selling SilencerCo products below everyone else.

Other retailers complained so SiCo cut ties.

No shit. I've shot them with my arm extended from a window and it still sucked ass. I can't imagine what it's like when it's completely contained, with the windows rolled up.
