Without clicking, I bet the pics are of the Ford Everest... Edit. Yup. https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/394169/4CCC0BF3-DAE7-4A0E-AA1B-EB6CB6A42216-8214-0000059C271C1E42-287216.JPG Clickbait article. It's a Ford Everest being tested, not a bronco in any way. View Quote |

The article reads like they are testing a right hand drive Everest in MI not claiming this is the new design for the Bronco.

My wife has a 2017 Escape and we love it. But we wouldn't want one that looks the same but longer. That thing is stupid. Plus it has two too many doors.
I had a '70 Bronco, big 6, three on the tree. Lord I miss that thing. |
|
Seems to me they got a look at something other than the new Bronco.
At least based on other reports and similar type articles from established Auto magazine publishers. A.W.D. |

Of course Ford designers would screw it up ...it's what they do best.

lol The Bronco is never going to materialize. View Quote The best method of seeing how a Bronco will look is going to be based on what the final production Ranger is going to be. Bronco/Ranger are going to be built side by side in the same factory in USA. |

I expect the Everest and explorer lines to merge, why make two different yet nearly the same platforms?

The key word in the article is MULE, which usually means that is a testing platform, not the actual production vehicle. Additionally, pics of the Everest have been floating around for some time now.

Looks very generic....Too big. Durango.
Looks like every other SUV on the road to me, nothing bronco-ish about it IMO. I am not a huge Bronco fan (I dont dislike them) just never owned one or had a burning desire to. But this POS makes me feel bad for Bronco lovers Unless its not actually the new Bronco |
|
I don't believe you.
All those pics are of a right hand drive. |
|
My goodness people.
That is not the new Bronco. Does that look like an off-road capable vehicle with DANA axles? No? That's all that's been confirmed by Ford about the new Bronco. Those pics are an Everest, not even available in the US. So gullible. The new Bronco will look similar to some of the mock-ups posted. |
|
This is what everybody wants, so naturally, Ford will do something completely different.

No matter what, they'll never match the originals. Of course, even my 1985 needed a few things. The TTB front end was sent do the dump where it belongs, and I swapped in a Dana 44 and a 9 inch from a 1978 Bronco. Plus some Detroit lockers. http://i.imgur.com/9wXNPSx.jpg View Quote |
