When my dad was dying this past January, I did my crying on the 3 hour drives back and forth to the hospital. I also did a lot of talking to God on that highway. I musta looked a little strange to anyone who might have seen me, but it did me a world of good. Don't be afraid to "air it out".

I would like to thank everyone who is praying. My mom is still alive but her condition is fading, she can't even turn herself in bed now.

Knowing everyone is praying makes me and my family feel more at ease, I guess the prayer should really be for comfort and peace though.

Dominick, your card mean the world to me and my mother, I honestly believe that the mass prayers have a lot to do with her hanging on yet not suffering greatly.

I'm so sorry to hear the news. Comfort her the best you can and keep the faith that will sustain us all in our darkest hour. Know she will find true peace and happiness, and will be welcomed by all of your family and friends who have made the journey before. The good Lord will never place more of a burden on us then we can handle. Prayers for you and your family. May God bless your Mother and ease her suffering. Please keep us updated.

I went through the same thing with my Grandfather in early 1992. He was my hero, mentor, and the man I respected most, to this day. Watching that strong, dignified man waste away was unbearable. I cried, I cursed, I went through a range of emotions, but I got through it and was at his side when he passed away. It was by far the hardest thing I've yet had to endure. I still think of him every day. I am not much of a prayer, but I will try for you. I know what you're going through. I wish you comfort--be strong.

I prayed for her and your family again and asked Jesus to welcome her into his Kingdom.

Don't be sad..God has a wonderful place waiting for all of us who come to him.

My Mother in Law was clinically DEAD in a hospital, and she came back to life. And BELIEVE me..she met Jesus and her dead family members and he told her that it wasn't her time yet and had her return.

God truly exists. We are only on this earth for a short time, just to learn and spiritually evolve, and then we "graduate" and are welcomed into God's Kingdom.

My mum fought a battle with cancer for nearly a year. I live here in Australia, and she was in Canada. Made 3 trips home in 12 mths. It broke me, but you only got one Mum, and she was worth it. I was there for her, and it sure felt good, and although she is gone now, Iam proud to have been there for her.
In short, be there for your Mum and family. It aint easy, but you will find the strength.
I wish nothing but the best for your Mum and your family. A few prayers here form downunder for her and you!

Our time here on earth is precious yet fleeting. I hope she continues to "not suffer greatly" as you describe. I pray for your family to be able to hold together and for your Mother.

Jake, I am glad to hear that your mother is not suffering. Group prayers are very powerfull. When two or more people come together in agreement, GOD will hear your prayers. The card is the least I can do. I will send up a petition to GOD, before my church, for your mothers peace and comfort. I have a lot of respect for you. Your mother should be very proud of you. GOD speed.
