Mine isn't even evil or black or full rock & roll.  Just a single shot.

Pedersoli Sharps 45-70 with tang rear & globe front sight.

Just a single shot that tosses a 550gr hunk of lead a long way

Mine is a Johnson Automatic Rfle.

With a bayonet and scabbard, I guess it is worth around $5000.

Information and photos of rifle

I had never even heard of one until I read "Hatchers Book of the Garand" and saw a picture of one. A year later, I saw one by chance in a local gun store. Almost got screwed on the deal, but came away with it for about $2000 in gun trades.

It was sporterized, but I sent it to a guy in Texas for restoration. Cost $1000.

This rifle can shoot! I have brought it to the range twice and people go nuts over seeing it.

Anyone else got some rare, cool, toys?

how bad was it sportarized?
i run across a few badly hacked 1941's  every once in a while. worst one i saw was where the previous owner adapted one to work from a remington 742 magazine

I've got a Remington 11-87 Sporting Clays with the nickle plated reciever, Briley chokes, ported barrel, etc.

I think they went for $800 when new.  Mine has seen probably 5k rounds though.  Nothing really special, but it fits me good and I can hit with it.  One of my favorites.

Not sure how much it's worth but it's a unfired 1943 Remington Rand. It was even loaded with 1941 tracer rounds when I inherited it.

My most expensive and most valuable is my AR15.  It has a RRA CAR A2 upper and an Olympic Arms lower with a collapsable stock.   Costed about 700 or so before mags.  I guess I've got some catching up to do.

Verona O/U.  Not that valuable but considering that my body is only worth about $5.00 on the open market I think that's ok.

Actually, I think it points the right way.

There is only THREE ways to do something;

the RIGHT way
the WRONG way
and the MAX POWER way....

this is exactly what i was thinking.. for 11k that better be NFA, and it looks to be..

Currently, my P7M8 is my most valuable.  But I'll be putting more money into my AR shortly, which will make that one the most valuable in a couple of months.

I wish I had some of the disposable income I see in this thread...

My father passed away this year and I now have his WWII 1911 service pistol.  (He served 2 tours in WWII as a B-17 and B-52 pilot and again in Korea as a flight surgeon)  It's not worth much to anyone else but it's priceless to me.

1944 Springfield M1 Garand. 520.95$. Yes, I am an upstart. I also have an SKS, which is more valuable to me even though it costs less. Runs 100% all the time, can't say the same about the m1.

I am not sure on the value of one of my guns. I inherited an original 1860 Colt Army revolver.  Still works.  I have the holster and belt that was with it.  It even has hash marks on the grip frame.  Does that mean how many were killed by this revolver?    I am not sure.

My other is my AR-50.....Love it...

Hmmm...

My grandfather's single shot bolt action .22.  It's the only thing of his I own.  Would NEVER sell it.

My most expensive, dollar wise though is my 6.8 SPC AR15...
