When I get that " Join the military " line of B.S. because of my firearms, I tell them " If you want to preach,  join a seminary" .    Then I tell them to fuck off.

I don't take these state AW bans lightly because like everyone else I feel its the slippery slope.

One or two states fall to the AW ban mantra, many will say its just those state's and their liberal population getting what they deserve.  

Then a few more states, its still OK because its the liberal blue states.  

Then its their state, and its not OK.  Help is needed, and immediately.

Luckily for me I live in a blue state that is pro gun; that doesn't mean I let my guard down.  

MD is close to me just the same as IL is.  I have written legislators in IL, I will write to MD too.  I travel the US for my job and like to bring at least one AR with me.  Going to an AW state changes my plans and what I bring.  I don't like to change my plans so I work to change the anti-gunners by writing and emailing other states' legislators.  Its the least I can do and really doesn't take that long.

We do need our own state.

I suggest Pennsylvania.

We have the strongest support from our centuries old
state constitution .

You guys need to come here,and kick out all of the welfare bums in
Philly and Pittsburgh .

After their gone,we're set.

MD has turned into a f'ing sesspool .
Without a CCW permit there ,I will not travel there or do
any business there.

I used to go all the time,but every time I go I see crime everywhere
and cops doing nothing about it.
They drive right past where you see people selling drugs.
Right at the freaking gas stations and malls !

It's not assault rifles involved in these crimes.
It's the same scum that go through their revolving door system.

As a side note ,my semi-auto assault rifles have 3 purposes.

1.Shooting fun.
2.Household defense.
3.Killing the first guy that comes through the door trying
to take it from me.

Disarmed freemen are slaves once they lack the means
to stand up.

Fight this one, MD!  Beating this stupid law down will give NY and NJ further incentive to do the same.  It'll send a clear message that gun owners are tired of the BS, and if a politician wants our votes, they need to stop the damn fear mongering and misinformation campaign and start doing what we want!

You have your F'n head in the sand if you think there is not an organized push to enact bans at the state level.  As more states fall the pressure increases on those that remain to conform.  We need to help fight this in any state it appears in as best we can.  Thinking you can just move away from it is a losing "strategery".
