You guys need to get rid of them CRTs, they generate lots of heat and suck up more electricity.
As an aside, so many mid towers and printers on the already cramped desk.  If you put them on the floor it'll save you lots of desk real estate

I dont speak that comptuer talk,

wtf is a CRT and how does it make more heat on a desk that the floor? Wouldnt it being on a desk let it get more airflow?

How much for a 19" flat screen now? My monitor does put off a bit of warmth.

I shouldn't have watched "Quigley Down Under".  I had to get on a 2 year waiting list.  It was worth every day.

The idea is to put your COMPUTER on the floor, if it's a tower that's where it belongs, not your MONITOR, lol.

M4 a CRT is like most TVs, Cathode Ray Tube, aka boob tube.  They use electron guns to shoot electrons through a piece of fine grills (Sony invented Trinitron), or tiny holes (shadow mask, dots, non Trinitrons), creating pixels (picture elements). The electrons excite the phospher coated screen, emitting light.  Well that's probably not a very accurate description, anyway the guns sweep left to right, line after line, from top to bottom.  The depth of the CRT is for the guns to do so.
Put your hands over the top grill of your monitor, it's hot.

It's not working for me. Here's a quick test (a real one...)

See? It doesn't work. This url was taken from the convenient "URL" line. Also, when I click on any thumbnail, in my galleries or any other, whether I'm logged on to the photo server or not, it displays a red X.

Note that I didn't edit this post. I knew it wouldn't work when I posted the first try.

I'm into metal framing, drywall, and stucco.  Keep an average of 20 men working round the calendar.  Times are good right now, with the interest rates the way they are.  Pricing stuff 50% higher than I was this time last year.  And still landing one out of every five I bid.
