Truth.

I'm going to knock out 200 soon to get me to 4500 YTD.

1500 more next week and at that point, 6000 done in the month of January.

First set today at 1354.  80 reps in 1:15.

Last year I could consistently knock out 80 in about 60 seconds.  Hopefully I get back to that pace by spring.

2nd set at 1410.  70 reps in 0:52.

3rd set at 1420.  50 reps in 0:36.

4500 pushups complete, YTD.

I did 300 on Thursday, 385 yesterday, and I'm on track for another 385 (maybe 420) today.

I've been keeping track with an excel sheet, today I decided to make a few charts to better see the data. I'm gaining on the par rate, but I didnt really realize the hole I have to dig out of. Gotta keep pushing.

Gotta love the weekend, more time to grind.

6 mike walk in a #18 vest and knocked out 25 push ups every 1/2 mile to get in my 300.

Also got in a solid back and workout after dinner.

I did them. Just still being fussy. Got in my 100 plus 45 minutes of total body lifts on my rest day. Back to running tomorrow.

Truly am in awe that some of y'all can rep out huge numbers of pushups in one sitting. My body just does not agree with pushups

Pretty heavy rain all day but squeezed in a 3 mile walk in the vest and knocked out my 300 push ups while walking.

Also got is a solid shoulder and ab workout.

Thanks for keeping me motivated, I really didn't feel like grinding today but didn't want to be a little bitch.

Plans for the next 3 weeks are as follows.

300/day x5 this week.

The following 2 weeks will go to 350/day x 5 and 250 on Saturday.

That will put me at 10,000 YTD.

The important thing to remember is you have to put in the work. There's no free lunch.

Nobody can make you do it but you. Your only opponent is the person you used to be.  Or maybe still are?
