My kids always thought that anything on TV in black and white sucked, until I made them sit and watch a few minutes of the Stooges. That's all it took for them to be hooked.

There was an episode where a baby was crying and Curly got him to stop. Moe walks up and asked what he gave the kid. Curley replied a pacifier and Moe looks in the crib and the baby is sucking on the muzzle of a revolver.

I used to have a 3 stooges video game (think it was on NES) & one of the levels was trying to get the soup cracker away from the oyster with a spoon...

Wrong Curly. Curly Howard was excellent.

Curly Joe DeRita sucked. So did Joe Besser.

Yeah, Shemp was 90% as funny as Curly. Certainly different styles, but he was very funny.

Big +1. While Curly was my favorite,Shemp will always have a special place in my heart. Damn,those boys were funny! I bought my nephews a couple of dvds but I don't think my Sis will let them watch 'em.

Some of the great comedians of the era. I still love to see them, even if I've seen the same show a hundred times before.

The plumbing one was one of my favorites.

Yes, I know.

That's why I said the picture was of the wrong Curly. In my original post, I was referring to Curly Joe DeRita, hence my statement "Curly Joe sucked."
