Easy case.

Mom will let us in. Troll will be in the basement still.

Have mom tell her troll that a new shipment just showed up from ADULTSEXTOYS.com. She then asks if she should open it.

Fearing that his mom will find the wall mount dildo set he is expecting, he will run full speed to the front door area and not have time to grab any weapons or even his pants.

I was once hall moniter so I feel qualified to answer your question OP. I would sneak to the basement door, silently open it, and dynamically toss a banana at the mouth breathers back boobs. When he swevils his chair and picks up the banana with his reaching stick, I will charge him with threatening me with furtive banana brandishing. He will be sentenced to 10 years in fat camp and be banned from all future ownership of fruits, nuts and vegetables insuring a recidivism rate conductive to justify ever increasing departmental fruit control budgets.
