It's a minimalist trigger guard covering holster with a single pull the dot. I know I'll buy at least one. I'm sure they are going to sell a shit load of them. These dudes always seem to set the bar for innovative holster design with the Phantom, then ACR and now the vanguard II. ETA: Video added. I think I found my next ex wife.   |

I'm cool with minimalism, but I don't mind a bit of leather down there to smooth out the contours and take the bite out of the edges. I've never caught myself wishing "I wish this damn summer special didn't have so much leather, and was, in fact just a clever strap to cover the trigger and hang on my belt".
That's just me though. You may love it.

Meh, only useable with an undershirt. Half the reason of a holster is to keep the gun off your skin due to moisture and chaffing on the sharper edges. I'll stick to ky full size IWB.

Every time I see these types of holsters one thing goes through my mind- you take it to the range, put a couple hundred rounds through it and decide to do some presentation drills after that.
A major failure of this type of holster will become quickly and painfully apparent. |

I doubt they intend it to take the place of all holsters for every situation. You can do presentation drills with this holster so you are proficient with it, without ever firing a round. |

Works for what it's intended to do. Friend picked one up at SHOT. Strong retention (with a G19). Looks like a good idea for summer.

I've got a friend or two carrying J frames mexican carry with clip draws. They work in places where they can't carry a gun so they leave their firearm in their cars when they go to work. I think this would be a good product for them.

I hope Raven doesn't send Tom Cruise to kill me but I couldn't wait and built my own out of some kydex I had laying around. I've done about a hundred draw stroke with my homemade version and I haven't had any issues so far.

Instead, they recommend you remove it form your pants, reholster, then reattach the holster. This is for CCW, not competition. I've actually seen and held one of these things. They aren't for me, but it works well for what it's intended to do. Very strong retention, too. |

I've been using the regular VG with paracord for a couple years and the VG2 for a few months. Its what I use for everyday carry. Retention is good, and printing is almost non-existant with a full sized Glock.
I see zero issues with this method of carry and its not uncomfortable at all. |
