Why do you have the two slugs?  Is it for the utility of blasting through a wall?  Just curious.

Browning Hi Power, about an arm's length aaway.  An AR10 is about 6 feet away; slap in a magazine and you can't run far enough fast enough.  Maybe I wasn't an Army or Marine sniper, but you'll still die tired.  Yoiu wouldn't want me after you with my former primary weapon (F4).

At the moment I am 15 seconds away from my G22, another 15 seconds away from extra mags...and maybe 1 minute away from my M4. (a minute because it is lockeed away with the bolt out)

I would say that as long as I am home, available firepower isnt a concern of mine.

If my early warning system (see picture below) alerts me to the presence of someone wishing to do harm to me or my loved ones I will grab my 870 wingmaster or my FN TPS depending upon where I am in the house. And whoever tries to come in will have to worry about Bootsy more than me. She'll try to go for the throat but probably start in the scrotal region.

Well in a lot of places a responsible gun owner wouldn't grab a centerfire rifle, such as an AR15, because the dangers of penetration or shots carrying great distances beyond the intended target it too great.

In an apartment or even a residential neighborhood a shotgun with shot or a handgun is a much safer choice most of the time, unless you are facing some SERIOUS opposition with heavy weapons and body armor.

EDIT for spelling

It depends .

I usually carry a Kahr K9 and a Keltec P3AT when
I'm away from the house . When I'm home . It all depends on
where I am in the house , but a weapon is never more then
2 steps away

Over penetration is an issue with most everything. If you miss your target, you're going to punch through walls - even with a handgun or shotgun. Read 'em and weep: www.theboxotruth.com/
