It does not weaken my faith to see people of faith made fun of, or to see Christ depicted as some sort of Casino Buddy, benignly winking at any evil people wish to do.

It DOES, however, lead men astray, and distort the proper picture of Jesus, making it that much easier to turn Him from Lord into drinking buddy.

As a former Christian, I have to say that particular scene was one of the most accurate portrayals of some Christians I have ever seen.  Mandy Moore was perfect for the role.

Jesus, some of you people are scary.

The story was written to target 13 year old girls. It didn't even bash Christianity. Just wanted Christians to be more open to gays. I was waiting for the story to take a decent turn like showing the pregnant girl's MILF mom tied up in the pastor's S&M dungeon.

My wife says Ryan and Russ are cut off from recommending movies.
