Real life isn't like the TV or gun rags would have you believe. Some of you guys, if you EVER get in a real life shoot are going to be VERY surprised at how your weapons load performs

I've seen folks shot with every handgun caliber in existence walk into emergency rooms. Including a guy with 3 contact .45 ACP rounds to his back and one guy with a .40 cal round to the forehead. I've seen more dead people from .380's than I have from .40's.

It's a HANDGUN. Not a phaser.

Remember this the next time a caliber/cop bashing thread starts because the badguy took 12 rounds to put down.

There's no such thing as a majic bullet.

I've shot big midwestern deer with a 12ga. Brennekee slugs, and seen them run. Lungs and heart blown to hell & gone.

I shot a deer scared up by a 4 wheeler with .45 SUPER (230gr. gold-dot at 1150fps.) He didn't slow down until he ran into a fence.

adrenaline !

I've also shot them and had them drop like a rock.

You can't count on any handgun to drop anything.
