I got a Model B I purchased way back in 1993 or 4, I love it!

Hell I would settle for a Norinco UZI right now.

The UZI is a significant  step in SMG design. It is probably over engineered as a semi auto but it is reliable, accurate and fun to shoot.

I  built one from parts during the ban and it is one of my favorite guns.

As far as the movie Munich goes, it is actually a remake of a TV movie called. "The Sword of Gideon" which was, as I recall,  a pretty good TV movie.

Grab a Vector. They do a stellar job on Uzis and they are incredibly cheap.

Seem to recall they were in Spain for that mission, so perhaps it was a CETME? That's what the front handguard reminded me of.

Steyr they are backordered forever... and people are paying more for used ones than the new ones are going for.  Do you have a line on some if our folks want them?

Wasn't aware of that.

I haven't dealt with Vector since they blacklisted me for doing a review of their HK53.

We're all going to go nuts until we can get a still of that rifle lol... Cetme is possible.  The magazine was definitely a straight box .308 type that reminded me of a FAL, could have been a G3 or HK91 mag.  Cetme mags have a slight curve to them.  Not sure what a .308 Galil mag looks like.

Look like this.

You need a scoped Galil like they had when they shot the boy into the pool. Then he threw it away as he ran

I just got back from Munich after reading this thread on my way out, it was an Israeli FAL. Here is mine:

I guess I'll throw in my Israeli tribute as well. It's not an UZI, but I bet you they wish they had something like it back then.

I KNEW it was a FAL!  Didn't realize it was the Israeli version... hope that was a director's error, because the last thing you want to do is throw away a weapon that is so noticeably connected with your nation when you are trying to avoid any ties.

Im just wondering how the scope was attached.

Probably a FAL scope mount.

In the movie the German Polizei used scoped G3s. I thought in reality they used bolt action rifles. Anybody know?

I've been on the waiting list since Sept.  Supposedly they are waiting on a part to be manufactured.
I believe the IMI receivers are all gone; they are going to the Lyttleton parts now.

Bingo

It was a Israeli FAL....plus the movie takes place before the Galil was produced so it would not be the .308 Galil.

The scoped G3s and suppressed HKP9S were cool.

And of course the UZI was cool
