Really?

When did Huckabee start advocating the government ownership of the means of production, the elimination of private property, standardized pay scales for all professions in order to eliminate income inequality and the abolishment of religion?
Give him time, he's started with stripping property rights and according to some, socialized healthcare.

Not that I'm picking or anything, but what's your source for that info?
My life, I live in Arkansas.

With a gun to your head, who would you vote for Hillary or Huckabee? (Sheesh, what is it with Arkansas?).

It's a fact that Bill was a better governer for us than Mike Huckabee.
I'll explain it as simply as I can. Huckabee is identical to Hillary except he lies about his socialist views.  If it's them, I'll hope for a third party, neither is better than the other.

I knew you'd come around on Ron Paul!

Paul won't run third party in the general election, right?

Right?

Non-action is better than what we have had for the last 20+ years.

Bush, Clinton, Clinton, Bush, Bush. Simply doing nothing would have been an improvment over their monumental screw ups.

I was referring to gun stuff.

He will raise taxes.

He will strip property rights.

He will socialize healthcare.

He will pardon violent felons even when told they'll re-offend.

Huckabee begs for new taxes.

He puts his faith before reason.

He believes the earth is 6,000 years old.

He's got more scandals back in Arkansas than you can shake a stick at.

He is exactly what Karl Rove's plan has brought on.  This is 'compassionate conservatism' brought to its logical conclusion.

Huckabee WILL raise taxes in order to pay for NEW social programs.

Think big spending, big taxing democrat with a Christian veneer.

Honestly I could care less as long as he is anti-AWB.

Hey, fuck the future of the country and its fiscal posture, as long as I've got my guns!

As long as I (and others) have my guns, I hold the last keys to the future of the country.

More taxes - meh

Illegals - meh, they are never going home, get that out of your head, at best you can hope for is to not let anymore in.

Welfare State - meh the Great Society Called, it says thats when the welfare state started - so essentially it is no change in the status quo.

You willing to trade a new AWB for the future of the country?

I mean after all lets elect Rudy or Romney who will without a doubt sign a new permenant AWB with no grandfathering, but they will not raise taxes and will be tough on illegals.

I'm a singe issue voter and always have been.

As a law student, I would have expected more from you.

Why?

The more things change, the more they stay the same.  Take the AWB expiring and the court justice additions out of the picture, and you could not tell me with a straight face that the last 8 years could have easily been a Democratic administration.

Both parties are damn near identical on almost every issue except gun control, abortion.  Spending.  Welfare vs. Military based pork projects.  Both cost the same amount.

What the hell has the Republicans done when they had control of both houses and the white house?  NOTHING!

Global WoT?  Meh I don't care anymore.  We are already being pussies about it IMHO.  SHould have used canned sunshine on 9/12/01, and we should NOT have rebuilt Iraq after the invasion.  Sit in FOB's and occasionally go out and fuck shit up.  Repeat as necessary.  Let the savages live like, well savages.  Fuck their freedom, fuck their human rights.  Piss on them.  Yes it would be bad to pull out and run home, but even if a D is elected this will not happen.  Look how many intervention ops were pulled in the clinton years.  Quite a lot.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.  I only care about gun laws and self defense laws.  I could care less about abortion, gay marriage and gay rights.  Justices have already been appointed to the bench, and at worst all a D president could do is simply balance the court so every issue is now fought over.

So I'm a single issue voter.

This shit does get old.

Republicans are entitled to zero fucking votes.  Democrats are entitled to zero fucking votes.  Independents are entitled to zero fucking votes.

The party and the candidates must EARN votes.

If a republican fails to get someones vote, then it is their own damn fault.

The "teaching them a lesson" comments are just

I watch the Huckabee interview on ABC's THIS WEEK and was overwelmed with strong feeling of dread.  This is supposed to be a conservative; he is no different than Hillary or Obama.  THe future of America is looking very bleak.

Bush is a conservative compared to what the republicans have now.

We need more voters, not candidates at this point...IMHO
