$1.989 was the cheapest I found 87 octane gas for today in the Cleveland area. Highest prices were in the $2.059 to $2.079 neighborhood.

$1.79 for 85 in Colorado this morning - $1.85 for 87 in New Mexico yesterday. Pfft, my car gets 35mpg on the highway and runs just fine on regular gas. The prices have not effected me at all.

Beats me why gas is more expensive on the coasts *shrug*  I seem to remember hearing something about boutique blends, shipping bans and a lack of refineries. Just another way the libs manage to take money out of your pocket.

How big is OPEC's Army and Navy? We control Iraq's oil fields right now.   The county currently known as Kuwait should have been renamed the US stategic oil reserves about 12 years ago. To the victor goes the spoils.

Sure... kill em all take the oil. We would be paying 50 cents for a gallon of gas in no time!

BTW: You pay more than 50 cents a gallon just for taxes… so keep dreaming.

$1.87 for regular.... it's been that same price at my local stations for at least a month now. Cheapest I've seen in the past few days was $1.83 (BTW, this is just outside of Boston).

If I shop around I can find it for $1.90 around here.  I was paying $1.71 about three weeks ago.  If we hit another peak and slide this week expect to see some prices dropping next week.  I notice some gas stations here buy on the spot market, so their prices drop first, and fast.

So far the price of $2.319/$2.409/$2.559 at the BP/ARCOs dealers in the San Gabriel Valley of So. Calif(10 miles east of Los Angeles) hasn't changed so far, but I suspect it will go up to around $2.359 or so because the price for crude has jumped another to another record high on the world market. So far
