Going places I've never been without having to worry about finding food or a hotel, with all the alcohol I want. And best of all, I don't have to fly

Several cruises later I still haven't gotten sick, except that time in the North Atlantic...

Poop, exciting and new
Come Aboard. We're expecting you.

It's an open smile on a friendly shore.

Royal Caribbean cruises are pretty good. Just avoid Carnival cruises like they were plague ships, because they basically are.

It's a floating hotel that you can't leave.
That sounds attractive.
It's like being in prison, except with a chance to drown.
Good lord, you all are afraid of your own shadows too, arent you?
Considering that I could get accidentally shot, right now, if my neighbor is fucking around 'cleaning' a rifle, and that I'm 3 times more likely to accidentally drown (I can't even swim), I try not to go on big floaty things.... why give the shadow any more substance?

Someone with an advanced degree and thousands of computers might be able to figure out what the problem is with that ship. Or someone might want to get the crew manifest from this year and last year and start crossing checking and see if there are any cross matches and maybe asks those who are on both manifests about their health leading up to those two cruises. Not a guarantee or anthing, and maybe those corporate bag munchers might want to start requiring vaccinations and a medical questionaire for their shipboard employees.... "have you been sick so back you almost shit your lower intestines in the last week.....???"

I am clearly no expert, but something has got to give with the cruise industry when it comes to this kind of clownshow shit.

When is Carnival going to sink once and for all?

They were saying same ship had the exact same thing happen on it last year

With how easily diseases spread on cruise ships wait until an Ebola carrier takes a two week cruise, the whole ship will probably have to be scuttled.

Carnival, WalMart in a Double-wide of the Seas...
It was a Princess ship. RIF
the company is now one of ten cruise ship brands owned by Carnival Corporation

You think brands like Seabourne, HAL and Cunnard are like double wides? I ave been on HAL, its far from redneck double wide cruising.
HAL is more of a floating retirement home.

same thing as Uniworld Cruises in Europe

My wife and I just returned from a 21 day European Cruise and transatlantic return crossing on the RCCL's Liberty of the Seas.

Oh; the horror.

Pretty much. A nice one though. I almost booked an 11 day Panama Canal once once. I did a 7 day first and am glad I didn't do the 11 day. It was nice but was bored out of my skull much of it.

Just got back from my second one last week. It's setting up to be a yearly thing for the family now every Nov/Dec time. Disney is nice and the only one I have been on.

Guess all the others are just horrible... or GD just like talking out of their asses. Hard to tell.

No, since the transatlantic portion of the cruise was a repositioning cruise, we sailed from La Palma, Canary Islands directly into Fort Lauderdale on November 8th, from where the ship resumed its Caribbean Cruising Itinerary after being in Europe for the season.

There were 87 cases aboard ship during my cruise.

I was lucky to escape with my life.
