From FacebooK:

1. Donald Trump on Universal Healthcare: “Everybody’s got to be covered, this is an un-Republican thing I’m going to say, I’m going to take care of everybody.”

When asked, ‘Who pays for it?’ Trump flatly replied, “the government’s going to pay for it.”
— CBS, “60 Minutes,” 9/27/2015

2. Donald Trump on taxing the rich: “Well, basically, this would be a one-time tax, 14.25 percent against people with a net worth of over 10 million […] It would pay off in its entirety the national debt of $5.7 trillion, and you’d save $200 billion a year. So taxes for the middle class would go way down, the estate and inheritance tax totally wiped out, and the Social Security system would be saved.”
— NBC, “Good Morning America,” 11/10/1999

3. Donald Trump on whether he’s a Democrat or a Republican: “In many cases, I probably identify more as Democrat.”
— CNN, “The Situation Room,” 3/21/2004

4. Donald Trump on guns and background checks: “I generally oppose gun control, but I support the ban on assault weapons and I also support a slightly longer waiting period to purchase a gun. With today’s internet technology we should be able to tell within 72 hours if a potential gun owner has a record.”
— Donald Trump, “The America We Deserve,” 2000

5. Donald Trump on quitting the GOP: “I really believe Republicans are just too crazy […] I mean, hey, I lived in New York City, Manhattan all my life, okay? So my views are a little bit different than if I lived in Iowa, perhaps.”
— NBC, “Meet the Press,” 10/1999

6. Donald Trump on abortion: “I’m very pro-choice. I am pro-choice in every respect.”
— NBC, “Meet the Press,” 10/1999

7. Donald Trump on who’s the most qualified to make a nuclear deal with Iran: “Hillary Clinton. Hillary’s always surrounded herself with very good people, I think Hillary would do a good job.”
CNN, “The Situation Room,” 9/24/2007

8. Donald Trump on impeaching George W. Bush: “I’m very impressed by her [then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi], she’s a very impressive person. I like her a lot. She was going to really look to impeach Bush, and get him out of office, which, personally, I think would have been a wonderful thing.”
CNN, “The Situation Room,” 9/24/2007

9. Donald Trump on Obama’s economic stimulus: “I thought he did a terrific job […] I thought he was strong and smart, and it looks like we have somebody that knows what he is doing finally in office, and he did inherit a tremendous problem. He really stepped into a mess, Greta [Van Susteren].
Fox News, 2/9/2009

10. Donald Trump on the Democrats’ economic policies: “It just seems that the economy does better under the Democrats than the Republicans. Now, it shouldn’t be that way. But if you go back, I mean it just seems that the economy does better under the Democrats. …But certainly we had some very good economies under Democrats, as well as Republicans. But we’ve had some pretty bad disasters under the Republicans.”
— CNN, “The Situation Room,” 3/21/2004

11. Donald Trump on immigration and the DREAM Act: “For people that have been here for years, that have been hard workers, have good jobs, are supporting a family, it’s very, very tough to just say ‘you have to leave, get out.’ How do you throw someone out that’s lived in this country for 20 years, you just can’t throw everybody out.”

12..In 2012, as Obama was running for re-election, Trump called Clinton “terrific” again in an interview with Fox News, saying she performed well as Secretary of State.

“Hillary Clinton I think is a terrific woman,” he told Greta Van Susteren. “I am biased because I have known her for years. I live in New York. She lives in New York. I really like her and her husband both a lot. I think she really works hard. And I think, again, she’s given an agenda, it is not all of her, but I think she really works hard and I think she does a good job. I like her.

But of course Trump is an honest man.

Trump evolves so much so fast he could rewrite Darwin's Origin of Species!

Yeah.  I saw that

Its a tactic of the typical Trump supporter though.  When faced with uncomfortable information about Trump, you get the "What are you going to do, vote for Hillary?" or "candidate B cant win"

The source for the article is a group called "think progress". Somehow I doubt their honesty right off the bat. Trump may or may not have personal input on whether you can carry a gun at a hotel he owns in Baltimore or Chicago but that seems like a decision the local manager would make not the billionaire CEO. And there is a difference between a private establishment barring weapons from their property and a Federal law prohibiting it.

I am older than most here [ 71 ] and have been fighting ''gun control'' all my adult life. With that said--- I PERSONALLY do not think that Trump will be bad at all for the 2nd Amendment, and will not ''flip'' on his CURRENT stance. To be clear, I am not a Trumpster, and to be honest, I am not thrilled by any of the candidates. There is an outstanding chance that id the libtards start pushing Trump to ''ban'' firearms, he would flair up on them and we would gather more support.
tl:dnr----I do not think Trump is a threat to the 2nd.---[ ymmv ]

This thread is based on bullshit, you had to pull up a news article from August 2015 to bash Trump.

All you Trump haters saying he will lose to Hillary are flat out wrong.  There is massive hate towards Trump by every other candidate, yet Trump is dominating every election.  Why?  Because he knows how to run a business and a campaign.  He knows how to get free publicity and keep his name in the news.  He also learns from his mistakes and fixes any problems.  In Iowa he learned the hard way that in addition to his presence in the state he need lots of people on the ground.  He has since correct that mistake and has people on the ground everywhere getting locals involved.

Trump is the only one who appeals to those in the middle because he doesn't push religious and social issues.  He focuses only on operating the government to make the country great, not to control what people do (other than the whole Apple thing which I hope he sees the light on).  One group that Trump can reach that the other Republicans can't is the gays who make up about 10% of the population.  You don't have to like them but they still vote.  They will not vote for Cruz with his anti-gay agenda but they will vote for Trump because he doesn't have an anti-gay agenda.  Add up all the social issues that the other Republicans are trying to force on people, if Trump gets 1% here and 1% there he ends up with a huge lead.  Trump is also the only candidate that has some people in Hollywood expressing their support for.

In my view Trump is the only one that can beat Hillary because he is the only one that is not offensive to some of the people who would normally vote for Hillary.  No other Republican candidate can reach those people.
View Quote

You Trump supporters just refuse to see the truth.  The reason he's ahead is because everyone else is split among the rest of the field and their supporters will get behind Cruz or Rubio, but only a small portion would back Trump.  He's sold 1/3 of the Republican party a bill of goods, but although you refuse to see it, he is more disliked than the Harpy felon Hillary.

He gets lots of free press because the liberal media knows that he will lose to Hillary and her best chance is with Cruz and Rubio sidelined.

Trump is highly offensive to a majority of Americans and if he wins the nomination the media will play all of his disgusting, arrogant, offensive, bigoted, misogynistic quotes on a loop until November.

I'm not religious at all and I don't give a shit if Cruz is preaching the Bible every day.  He's a constitutionalist first which means if it's not designated to the federal government in the Constitution, then it gets left up to the states.

You are wrong. ALL the polling says Trump loses by 4-6% to her. Cruz wins by 1-2%. Rubio beats her by 6-7%.

I want to see Cruz as the nominee. He is absolutely the best conservative and will make appointments to the SC that I feel confident about but I will vote for Rubio if he is the nominee.

Trump.....I'm staying home along with a lot of people I know. If it's going to burn what difference does it make which democrat is at the helm

So you think the 30% +/- he gets in the primary will translate into a win

Not happening and there are a very large number of republicans that will not be voting for him. The other 4 left on the ballot are getting the 65-70% that he is not. You don't seem to understand percentages very well. If this gets narrowed down to 1 other candidate he will lose the nomination and lose it big time. His cult is what is what he's got, no more no less.

Trump is even more generally disliked than Hillary.  His worshipers are all the support he's ever going to get which is no where near a majority of the country.

Ha ha ha.

If you REALLY believe Cruz or Rubio is the horse you want to bet on........put your money on that horse.

I am no Trump worshipper. I am a realist. Do I think he is going to do, even a fraction of what he says.......NO.  Do I think Hillary will get her shit done vs. a GOPe congress.......YES !

Wake up and smell the coffee.  We have a fucking muzzie POTUS !  People are that fucking stupid.  Let that sink in.

Are they going to vote for Cruz because he has a better command of constitutional issues?!   Are you drunk !

Are they going to vote for Rubio because he is kinda-Mexican and will try to be a moderate and out dem the dems?  Are you fucking stoned too?!

I resigned that this country was lost, beyond repair, when Obungo was re-elected.  Trump has given me a scintilla of hope.  Only a scintilla.

Pathetic

LOL, Trump could come out tomorrow in support of gun bans and abortion clinics in high schools, and he'd still win in a landslide, because voters want a wall built on our Southern border and they want illegals deported. It's over neocons. You lost.

My God people, it is simple.

This is how I do it.

I'm not voting for him in the primary.

If he wins the nomination, his gun policy most certainly won't be as bad as the Ds.

It isn't rocket science.

You did nothing to demonstrate how my prediction of a Trump vs Sanders general election could possibly wrong.

Instead you used a silly childish emoticon to drive home your possible alternative prediction to mine.

Donald Jr. is talking in Nevada right now.

This guy sounds like an arfcommer, talking about the .22lr shortage, plinking, and reloading... and very specifically said how he talks to his dad every week about gun stuff.  He is high energy and very articulate.

I have no fear that Trump Sr. will do anything stupid, and I have a feeling that his oldest son will be a part of his administration.

Anyone watching the pre-rally with Trump Jr. talking?

He's talking about not being able to find bricks of .22, reloading his own ammo, and knows a lot of about shooting. Sharp guy.

Go back about 15 minutes if you missed it

Originally, I thought Trump supporters were just like the rest of us - angry at FBHO, FHRC and the Washington do-nothing's.

As he has said dumber and dumber things, and proven he has no clue what is going on and had no real interest in making the country better, I began to think his supporters were just giving the whole world a big FUCK YOU for the LOLs.

Now, I realize they are just stupid. Anyone who believes he is anything but a problem for conservative values and constitutional rights is just a moron.

Sadly, there are a lot of them.

How smart you are. You use the word "neocons", what does that mean? Well, "neo" means new and I guess "cons" refers to conservatives. So, "new conservatives"

Trump just recently "came around" to the conservative point of view, wouldn't that make him a neocon?

Trump is the only candidate who will lose to Hillary.

Sanders is the bigger concern.

Did you miss where Trump offended women, blacks, and Latinos?

Frankly I don't give a flying fuck if I offend someone because I want a Constitutionally restricted republic. I want someone not only who says shit but has a record of doing it. I'm sick-n-tired of the liberal and liberal-lite parties negotiating deals that drift us to the left time-after-time.

Don't go by the hate you are seeing in the liberal controlled media as a gage as to who Trump "offends". He offends liberals, globalists and establishment controlled people in politics and the media. Man on the street not no much. Look at record breaking rally's for proof.

Actually Trump has more cross over support with not only Dems, but blacks, Latinos and women than any GOP candidate in recent history. Even many unions are considering supporting him no matter what their leadership says. Teamsters for one and many I'm seeing in the USW.

I'm already hearing rank and file steel workers saying they will vote for him regardless of who the leadership endorses this time...something I've never seen in 30 years of working in a union USW shop.

They are tired of getting fucked in trade deals, brought on by both parties, especially Dems. A couple of black guys I know are wearing Trump T-shirts to work if that tells you anything.

Show me current political rally's where someone, anyone be it Dem or GOP is bringing in such a wide array of people. Believe it or not, many Latinos want border security as they are hurt worse by open borders and low wages than anyone. Blacks too, I've recently seen rappers, Dennis Rodman and even Louis Farrakhan saying they endorse Trump which surprises the shit out of me, but there it is.... Show me any other GOP candidate that is doing that.

You mean the liberal controlled media like MS-NBC?  Where two of their anchors hung out with Trump in his hotel watching the NH primary returns with him?

That liberal controlled media?
