Non-firing hand.  And I don't understand why so many of my fellow non-firing-hand-chargers insist on wasting money for non-standard parts on their charging handles.  The standard charging handle works just fine and doesn't create any problems if I use somebody else's AR.

You are incorrect.

The charging handle latch is activated by the shooting hand (right) that is how it was designed.  The manual of arms is taught that way.

Don't know if its right or wrong,I charge it just like my 1911.    Pull back on charging handle push forward on pistol grip.  Then If all goes well blast away!
