It takes money to disseminate speech via the press, or via advertisement and publication of speech in any format beyond yelling on street corners, really.  You just hate the decision because it went against the government clamping down on speech that opposes your grand desire for mankind to be under the boot heel of the Soviet-esque socialist state.

It's funny that you think I'm a Republican.  But not as funny as pointing out how, logically, free speech is just yelling on the street corner unless you have the freedom to spend money to publish it, and your retort is to ignore that point and state that you dislike it, not because of sound logic or legal argument, but rather because of your feels.

How do you feel about unions spending money to support their favored candidates?

Don't worry, I don't expect you to be honest.

You can see the split in the democratic party between funding in the Sanders and Clinton campaign.  You see it on the right with the establishment republicans opposing Trump.  They represent the money's interest not their party's voters.

There is nothing that prevents the states from amending any part of the Constitution, including any of the amendments, via the process laid out in Article V.  I agree we have inalienable rights, as stated in the Declaration of Independence, that come from our Creator, not any man or government.  Those rights cannot be "edited" by man.  But the Constitution was created by men, and can be amended by men.

It would help if what you'd said about the Democrats was a complete thought, or coherent.

But, either way, and whether you like it or not, party nominations are not an elective process that is under federal jurisdiction.  And it seems pretty clear, from the many opinions voiced on the matter, that if the GOP jumps the top candidates to emerge from the caucuses, primaries, and conventions, and stuffs some noncompetitive hack in as their nominee, they'll lose, and lose badly.  So tell me again how that doesn't work itself out in the end?

Citizens United was a group of people that joined together and contributed money to make a film that was critical of Hilary Clinton.  It is the very essence of why we have the First Amendment; to be able to criticize politicians. That the group of people formed a corporation to do so is somehow scary and evil.

Well that's kind of vague. Do you mean that criticizing politicians paved the way (what current problems? Isn't everything great with President Obama?). Or is it only acceptable to  criticize politicians if you contribute to some other politician's campaign within the limits set by the government?  Why is it okay for CBS, NBC, and ABC to give out millions (billions?) worth of free support but if a few guys from AR15.com want to pool our money that is bad?

Face it, the current system protects incumbents at the expense of liberty.

I find little to distinguish between Hillary's ambition and Donald's.  Profit is great as long as one does not lie, steal or cheat and we have yet to see a tax return.  In each of their ambition we can observe that it is a difference without a distinction.

I really hate to say I agree with Hillary on something
Why should a corporation receive the same protections as a person? The individuals IN the Corporation should never lose their inalienable rights, but The Constitution lays out a government of the people by the people and for the people. Not a series of fucking fiefdoms where CEO's get to dictate policy. I mean if you guys are cool with being serfs then by all means. I however refuse to bow to a king or baron just because he is in the private sector.
