Cute pup.

I went with Mauser the schnauzer and Kimber the mutt.  Kimber has proven to be spastic and expensive while somewhat unreliable.  Not saying there is anything in a name...but be careful.

Petra and Eva are being considered too.

Damn, alot of good names....you guys are good. If she was a he (full) Otto would likely be in the top 3 picks. Thats awesome.

Thanks all for the replies, keep them coming. A decision will be made maybe today.

Well what litter did the dog come out of? Usually with our dogs if it's an "F" liter the dog gets a F name.. if it's an "A" litter etc etc. Of course you could do different call than paper names but it usually follows the litter.

In general a name should be short, with a hard sound and with a different vowel sound from the other dog you have.

You have Jack, so things like Maggie are not a great choice (although I love the name Maggie).

Looking through some German names, maybe Gretchen?

I like this name.

I note the OP's pup already has ears trying to stand up.  That's good.

Also, some BIG paws.  She will be a good-sized girl.  That's good too.

My female GSD has a dandy set of paws on her too.  I thank God every day that my GSD is NOT a hole digger.   If she were, my yard would look like Khe Sanh.
