Hiram, I cannot state this strongly, or politely enough... please do not take offense... but... EVERYBODY WITH HALF A BRAIN ALREADY KNOWS THAT BOTH POLITICAL PARTIES HAVE LAST MINUTE TRICKS UP THEIR SLEEVES! CHILL OUT BRO!!! Seriously, this story is linked from FreeRepublic.com for Christ's sake... I'm pretty sure the cat was out of the bag long before I started this thread. No specific info has been posted I asked folks to speculate on open source info only. I know your heart is in the right place Hiram & that you are stressed out from a long campaign season, but I think that you are over reacting a wee little bit. Have a beer or three, watch some football this weekend , and RELAX!

Yeah, too little sleep, too much coffee and way too much stress.
Everybody knows that there is something out there, some people may have inside sources, some might be speculating, in any event it makes no sense for anybody to be discussing this. That's the problem with this wonderful thing called the Internet, there is too much information out there... some bullshit, some speculative, some balls on, so fanciful beyond belief, and every once in awhile the smoking gun that shouldn't be there. I just don't want anything ending up here that might undermine plans that have been carefully thought out. These bloggers are also pissing me off. You have idiots inside the campaign that want to prove how in the know they are... so they brag to a friend... who wants to seem like an insider so he mouths off to someone else, and then some blogger gets it and runs with it to prove how influential these blogs are and before you know the bang that would have been becomes a pop and a fizzle. Anyway, remember to vote folks, that is the most important thing any of us can say or do. |

From the speculation I am seeing, it looks like this could be a dud.
I think this will have to do with Kerry's complaining about Tora Bora and outsourcing. He was on Larry King during Tora Bora and praising Bush and how we were handling it over there. Pulled from INDC Journal
Move along nothing to see here. This will be in the news for few hours, maybe a day. If Rove has something huge which I now doubt he does you will see it later in the week. |

Hasn't it? Look at the damage the Swifties did to Kerry's polls. Now imagine that documents emerge that prove them right and/or prove Kerry to be less than the war hero he all wants us to think he is. I'm not going to get my hopes up, but IF (and it's a big IF) this is what it could be, Kerry will spend the next week trying to spin it rather than attacking Bush. |

I like to see some DOD Clerk break the law and produce those missing pages from Kerry's personnel file - the ones where he got a dishonorable discharge and over a period of time had it upgraded by his friends, the ones where he got his ass chewed off for negotiating with the North Vietnamese in Paris while still a member of our Armed Forces. Linda Tripp's confidential records somehow got leaked - why not these? You KNOW the DOD has many peope who would not like for Kerry to be elected president, and the odds are some of them work in records. I'd do it, for the sake of my country, even if it meant jail time. It would be worth it to have the truth about Kerry's service brought to light. |

I let about ten of my coworkers watch my copy of Stolen Honor - the dvd version of Stolen Valor on a gubment computer today at their leisure. Watch it if ya havent seen it - it will make your blood BOIL!!!
