To clarify, "hits" are generally counted as ANY "hit" to a web server, thus, for one page view, it counts each image as one "hit" - as long as that image is on the server being tracked, so each time a one page is pulled up by one person, it can count as a lot of hits. What are the statistics for "Page Views"? |

Ah don't click it, just ignore it's there...
Clicking the image does nothing for the stats, but it will take you to the ranking pages. Just carry on as normal and watch for the results! |

What it is registering is how many differen computers from different IP's hit this site in one day. So even though I've logged on twice here today, it's only registered this computer once.
The hits right now are at 10685. They average the hits by day in 4 day group. So even if they divided our hits just for today by 4, we would be ranked in the #5 slot.

Sweep pretty much nailed it down.
What it tracks is UNIQUE IP addresses, not hits, hit clicks. So just surf the site and don't worry about it, it'll count you anyhow. Basically the only way to mess with the stats is to run around the city and surf on every pc you could find. Anyone nuts enough to do that can run out now and have fun!  |

#5 after one day! Not Bad At All!!! (Consider that they divide our single day's total by 4!)
That means that tomorrow we should be at ~24,000/4 or around 6k average over two days. Day 3 we will pull into the top position and never look back.

At this moment we have an averae of 3657 hits per day. I'm predicting that we'll actually have the #1 spot by this time tomorrow! Now go get ak47.net, which was at 92 earlier today and is now at 41, bumped on up into the top 10!!!!

Actually, what people should do is just go hang out on our AK side (the darker side!) and you'll be counted for the AK site!
Make sure to visit the AK board every day and say hi!!!! Give those guys a little attention, learn to love another rifle, and help the ranking in the process. Again, you don't have to go to the AK47.Net domain to help out, just click on the AK-47 forum and you'll help them rock the net!
